Travel Vaccinations

global air travelIf you think you may require vaccinations relating to foreign travel, it is important to make contact with the Practice as early as possible,
at least 6 weeks before you travel !

If you require vaccinations, you will need to obtain these with a prescription. The pharmacy will have to order in vaccines they do not normally stock. The vaccinations also need to be given in good time for them to work.

Please note that some vaccinations will require to be provided by private prescription and these will involve paying charges. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.

You can download the Practice's Travel Questionnaire and submit this for our Practice Nurse to review. Alternatively please ask at reception for a copy.  Following submission of your Travel Questionnaire, please contact us after seven working days if you have not heard from us about the next steps you may need to take.
