Information for Carers

 Are You a Carer?

Do you help to look after someone at home?

If you are a carer, there are thousands of ordinary people just like you across Forth Valley who look after someone who cannot manage on their own. Carers are a central part of the Health & Community Care System.

In recognition of this, NHS Forth Valley want to make sure that carers know where they can get information and support to carry out this vital role. If you help to look after someone, we want to help you.

If you are a carer and wish help or support, please don’t hesitate to speak to your GP, who can refer you to the Falkirk Carers Centre, or ask at reception for a referral form. You can also contact the Centre directly on Telephone (01324) 611 510.

More information about the Falkirk Carers Centre can be found by clicking on the link.

Annual Carers Health and Wellbeing checks are also offered at the Practice and appointments for these can be made by contacting the surgery.
